MIAA Basketball Tournament: Norwood Earns High Seeds

NORWOOD, MA - The Norwood Mustangs are set to make a run at the basketball state title as the 2016 MIAA Division 2 South pairings have just been announced.

Finishing the regular season with a record of 14-6, the fifth-ranked boys basketball team will host No. 12 Hingham in a first-round game on March 2 at 6:30 p.m. The winner earns a trip to the quarterfinal round.

Like the boys, the Norwood girls enter the tournament with a record of 14-6 and the fifth seed. They will host Dartmouth in the first round on March 3 at 6:30 p.m.

The winner of the Division 2 South tournament will play the winner of the North bracket for a shot at the state championship.
