Norwood Resident One of Five Charged in Stoughton Drug Arrests

Police arrested five people during three stops.

STOUGHTON, MA — Five people in Stoughton, including a Norwood man, face charges following alleged drug deals that took place Thursday.

At 11:35 a.m., detectives observed a drug deal in the area of Park Street, according to the Enterprise. Following a traffic stop, police learned that the driver didn't have a license and was in possession of a bag of marijuana and a cut up white pill. The driver, Michael J. Bernard, 30, of Weymouth, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class B substance, conspiracy to violate the drug law and driving a motor vehicle with a license suspended for an OUI.

About 50 minutes later, a vehicle that was in the area several times allegedly made a hand-to-hand transaction in a driveway. After police learned that the vehicle's registration was revoked, the car was pulled over and police allegedly found Suboxone strips and pills in the car. The driver, Lynne Tremelling, 44, of Mansfield and the passenger, Kevin Debra, 32, of Norwood, were arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a Class B substance and conspiracy to violate the drug law. Tremelling was additionally charged with driving with a suspended registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

At 2 p.m., another car was stopped and two more arrests were made. Kellie Donoghue, 31, of Weymouth was charged with possession of a Class E drug and conspiracy. Gordon Hatch III of Stoughton was charged with two counts of possession of a Class B drug and conspiracy to violate drug law. He faces two more charges of possession of a Class B drug related to an earlier transaction.

All five pleaded not guilty in Stoughton District Court and are due back on Dec. 16.
