Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce to Host Spelling Bee

The Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce's Education and Business Committee's first Spelling Bee and Business After Hours benefiting in part a scholarship for a student of the Neponset Valley Leadership Institute, an organization dedicated to preparing students for the challenges of the business world, Thursday, Oct. 24, at Four Points Sheraton, 1125 Boston/Providence Highway, Norwood, from 5:30-8 p.m.

Ten teams of three-made up of local businesses, NVLI students and community leaders- will compete for the coveted honeycomb trophy and bragging rights as the Neponset Valley's top spellers.

Award winning FOX 25 News Investigative Reporter, Mike Beaudet will be the special guest "Pronouncer." Beaudet has won 12 Boston/New England Emmys, including three in 2011, when he was once again named Outstanding Investigative Reporter.
