New Coakley Middle School Vice-Principal Announced

A new member of the Coakley Middle School administration ​team was announced at Wednesday night's school committee meeting.

NORWOOD, MA — A new member of the Coakley Middle School administration team was announced at Wednesday night's school committee meeting.

Norwood Superintendent David Thomson announced that Anthony Freeman has been hired as the new vice-principal. He comes from the Everett Public Schools, where he was the director of science.

Freeman holds several degrees including a master's degree from Tufts University, bachelor's degree from Jarvis Christian College of Texas, and a law degree from the Mass. School of Law.

The school's administrative team when through somewhat of a facelift this year. In May, Margo Fraczek was announced as the school's new principal.

Thomson said he hopes to introduce Freeman to the committee at a future meeting.
