New Programs From NPA-TV
Norwood's public access channel launches winter documentaries this weekend.

A heads up on some neat programming coming your way this weekend from our friends at NPA-TV:
Friday night at 7:30 on the town channel you can see a behind the scenes glimpse at what it takes to handle the snowfall in town. The NPA cameras have been following the Norwood Department of Public Works trucks all winter, and now staff producer Nick Straus has put together a 30-minute documentary that will include interviews with Norwood DPW employees, footage from inside the plows at the height of the storms and scenes from the DPW headquarters.
Station Coordinator Karen Murphy said that Straus began taping for this program during the Christmas blizzard in December.

Also debuting on Friday night is a new profile of the Norwood Board of Health produced by NPA-TV’s Meghan Staffiere. The show, airing at 8:00 p.m. on the town channel, will highlight the various roles the department plays around town and includes staff interviews, a trip to a local kitchen for an inspection and a look into keeping the town pools sanitary.
