New Willett Early Childhood Center Principal Announced

Superintendent David Thomson announced at a recent school committee meeting that Carolyn Boyce has been picked as the new principal.

NORWOOD, MA — The new principal of the Willett Early Childhood Center will come from the Berkshires to take her new job in Norwood.

Superintendent David Thomson announced at a recent school committee meeting that Carolyn Boyce has been picked as the school’s new principal. She comes from Lenox where she was the principal of Morris Elementary School.

Thomson said that Boyce has a focus on early education and was previously a kindergarten teacher.

“We’re kinda lucky that she’s relocating for family reasons, that why we were able to find a high-quality candidate,” he said.

Boyce was scheduled to start in Norwood the week of July 18.
