Norwood Business Spotlight: Jake n Joe's Sports Grille

Jake n Joe's Sports Grille at 475 Providence Hwy. (Rt. 1 South) opened their doors in 2010 and has established itself as the place to go to watch your favorite sports teams on television.

The menu features American burgers, pizza and sandwiches along with daily specials. Televisions line the bar and your favorite sports photographs and memorabilia line the walls.

Patch sat down with Adam Costain, Director of Marketing and Special Events, to talk about Jake n Joe's.

Patch: Is Jake n Joe's part of a restaurant group and if so, who owns Jake n Joe's?

Costain: Jake n Joe's is owned and operated by the Nocera Family, owners of the Chateau Restaurant. The Chateau Restaurant is known for quality food and that same principal is carried over here at Jake n Joe's. It's a high priority to serve quality food.

Patch: When did they open the Norwood location and are there other locations opening?

Costain: Our Norwood location will celebrate their three year anniversary in June of 2013. We recently opened our second location in Foxboro a mere two weeks ago and plans are in the works for a third restaurant which will be located in Waltham.

Patch: Do you have any featured promotions?

Costain:   We run promotions at our Norwood location Monday through Thursday. We have 50 cent wings on Monday, half price appetizers on Tuesday, burgers for $2.99 on Wednesday, half price pizza on Thursday, $18. beer towers everyday and Coors Light Draft for $3.50.

Patch: So is Jake n Joe's the place to go to watch a game?

Costain: We are the place to be for all sporting events! We have 40 HDTV’s, including three that are 80” plus. We always have the sound on for the New England Patriots and Boston Bruins games and many other major sporting events.

Patch: Are there any menu items you think we should try?

Costain: Our wings, both bone in and boneless. Our famous wing sauce is the JnJ Sauce (a mix of Sweet Teriyaki and Hot Buffalo) as well as our steak and turkey tips, burgers and of course the healthy salad options.
