The Olde Colonial Restaurant located at 171 Nahatan St. is a landmark in downtown Norwood. This beautiful structure was once home to the Norwood Fire Department.
Owners Paul and Martha Angelo have owned and operated the restaurant for over 40 years.

Patch sat down with manager Bill Conley who gave us some old and new facts about the Colonial Cafe Restaurant.
Patch: Is this building a Norwood landmark?

Conley: Yes, it is a very well known building in the town of Norwood with a lot of history. It was the old Norwood Firehouse for several years.
Patch: How long has the restaurant been here?
Conley: The OCC has been at our downtown location at 171 Nahatan St. for 13 years. Proprietors Paul and Martha Angelo have owned and run the business for over 44 years between its current location and the original location.
Patch: Can someone rent your restaurant for functions?
Conley: Yes. We can accommodate all types of functions, seven days a week. Our functions include rehearsal dinners, weddings, birthday parties, bridal and baby showers, christenings, team dinners, school events, and funerals. We are flexible and have a broad range of packages to accommodate anyone's needs.
Patch: Do you feature house specialties?
Conley: Yes, we have several house specialties as well as nightly specials that change daily. We also have a Bar menu for people eating at the bar Tuesday - Thursday. We are also now featuring our Grab 'N Go Dinners that can be picked up anytime.
Patch: Now that warmer months are coming, do you offer outdoor seating?
Conley: We do have outdoor seating and are looking forward to having our first full season with the patio open.
