Norwood Firefighters Deliver Baby in Parking Lot
The baby was born in the Savers parking lot.

On Thursday, a baby was born in Norwood, but unlike most babies, this one wasn’t going to wait to get to the hospital.
At 6:35 a.m., Norwood fire received a call from a couple in the Savers parking lot. By the time firefighters arrived, the baby was crowning according to WCVB. The baby was born about 40 minutes later.
The couple were on their way to Newton-Wellesley Hospital, but were unable to make it due to traffic. After the birth, the couple and the newborn baby were transferred to Norwood Hospital.
