NORWOOD, MA — Norwood's General Manager Tony Mazzucco did an interview, via Skype, with Gerri Slater for an episode of “Your Town at Work” on Norwood Community Media. Mazzucco opened up about his positive test results for the new coronavirus, being quarantined and how the town is handling the ongoing public health emergency.

Mazzucco was one of 11 town officials who may have been exposed to the new virus during a party. He and Superintendent David Thomson volunteered their testing information in an effort to keep the public informed. In his interview with Slater, Mazzucco said he only exhibited minor symptoms but has been feeling much better. Mazzucco is still quarantined.

He added in his interview that work has kept him busy while quarantined at home but he's been taking time to focus on his mental health as well, taking breaks and refocusing energy on activities that are not work related.
