Norwood Group Receives $10,000 Grant
The grants awarded will support the Joy in Childhood Foundation's mission to provide the simple joys of childhood to sick and hungry kids.

From the Joy in Childhood Foundation: The Brand Central Chapter of the Joy in Childhood Foundation, the charitable foundation supported by Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins, celebrated its fourth annual “Week of Joy” with a donation of $90,000 in grants to eleven organizations in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Maine. The grants awarded support the Joy in Childhood Foundation’s mission to provide the simple joys of childhood to sick and hungry kids. The Foundation is committed to funding joyful environments, joyful experiences and joyful expressions to ensure that children whose lives are compromised by hunger or sickness have the support and essential services they need to find joy in their daily lives.
The grant recipients gathered at Dunkin’ Brands Headquarters yesterday for a check presentation with representatives from the Brand Central Chapter of the Foundation.

- AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts, Inc. (Roxbury, MA)
- BINA Farm Center (Natick, MA)
- Boston Children’s Hospital Milagros para Niños (Boston, MA)
- Camp Sunshine at Sebago Lake, Inc. (Casco, ME)
- Children’s Alopecia Project (Naples, ME)
- Cristo Rey Boston High School, Inc. (Boston, MA)
- Elisha Project (Providence, RI)
- Kylee’s Kare Kits for Kidz, Inc. (Leominster, MA)
- Natick Service Council, Inc. (Natick, MA)
- Nurtury (Boston, MA)
“We are proud to support these eleven organizations as we work together to bring joy to the children that need it most,” said Shelley Misiph, Co-Chair of the Brand Central Chapter of the Joy in Childhood Foundation. “Each organization was nominated by someone who works at the Dunkin’ Brands Headquarters based in Canton, MA. Our employees make these generous grants possible through continuous contributions and the support of the Foundation.”
Since launching in 2006, the Joy in Childhood Foundation has granted more than $14 million to hundreds of national and local charities across the country.
