NORWOOD, MA — One of Norwood's supermarkets went through a name change over the weekend.
At 7 a.m. Saturday morning, Hannford Supermarket became Big Y, according to WBZ. Stores in Milford, Easton, and Kingston also went through the change. Locations in Quincy, Norwell, Peabody, and Saugus are expected to follow suit.
The renaming gives Big Y 79 locations in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
