Norwood High School News Show Wins Prestigious Award

The Mustang Magazine television program has won the 2016 NSPA Pacemaker Award​, the highest award for high school journalism.

NORWOOD, MA — Norwood High School's own student news show has won one of the most prestigious awards for student journalism.

The Mustang Magazine television program recently received the 2016 NSPA Pacemaker Award, beating 60 submissions and 12 finalists.

Anchor/reporter Giuliana Schallmo told the Boston Globe that the schedule can be challenging but their hard work is paying off.
