It has been 39 years since the Boston Bruins sipped from Lord Stanley's Cup. Thirty-nine years since fans celebrated a hockey championship in the Hub. Thirty-nine years since Phil Esposito, Bobby Orr, Gerry Cheevers and Johnny Bucyk took turns hoisting the Cup in childish joy. 

OK, you get the point, it has been a long time since this city celebrated a hockey championship and 21 years since the Bruins even played for a title.

Tonight, history will be made as the Bruins take on the Vancouver Canucks in the seventh and final game of the Stanley Cup. The series is tied at three games a piece, and the winner of tonight's game will taste the glory of a championship.
