Norwood To Hold Reception For Retiring GM

NORWOOD, MA — Residents who would like thank outgoing General Manager John Carroll for his near four-decades of service to the town will have a chance in a couple of week.

The town will hold a retirement reception Dec. 14 at Memorial Hall from 1-3 p.m. All Norwood residents are invited.

Carroll has been the town's GM since 1978. His last day will be Dec. 15.

Adams Town Administrator Tony Mazzucco has been selected as the new general manager. The selectmen are expected to sign his contract with the town next week.
