Norwood Hospital To Host Blood Drive

NORWOOD, MA — Norwood Hospital will host a blood drive in conjunction with the American Red Cross on Aug. 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Blood Drive will take place in the Abraham-Sieracki Conference Room at Norwood Hospital, 800 Washington St.

Earlier this month, the American Red Cross faced a critical blood shortage and issued an emergency call for donations. Blood donations are always needed because patients recovering from accidents or receiving treatment rely on lifesaving blood products and every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood.
