Norwood HS Principal Resigns
Superintendent Dave Thomson announced at last week's school committee meeting that Jonathan Bourn has resigned, effective June 30.

NORWOOD, MA — Norwood High School Principal Jonathan Bourn may be a finalist for the Braintree High School headmaster opening, but even if he is not selected for the position, he will not return to Norwood.
Superintendent Dave Thomson announced at last week's school committee meeting that Bourn has submitted his resignation, effective June 30.
“I’d like to thank Jonathan for his service to the Norwood Schools. He will be with us through the end of the school year and we all wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors,” Thomson said.

Thomson told the Norwood Record after the meeting that he expects interviews to run through April, with a decision on the next principal by early May.
Bourn was named the Norwood High School principal in 2015 and served as an assistant principal at various schools before coming to Norwood.
