Regionally, Weymouth is considered by the magazine to be the 12th best place to live in northeast.

Done in partnership with Realtor.com, the MONEY Top 100 looks at the best towns and cities that offer healthy economy, affordable homes, and a high quality of life. The magazine looks at places with populations between 10,000 and 100,000 and eliminates any place that had more than double the national crime risk, less than 85 percent of its state’s median household income, or a lack of ethnic diversity. Then, 170,000 data points are collected to narrow down the list including data on each place’s economic health, cost of living, public education, crime, ease of living, and amenities.
