Norwood Man Charged In Needham Bank Robbery
Erik Jones, 35, of Norwood, was arrested early Tuesday morning by State Police.

NORWOOD, MA — A Norwood man has been charged with robbing a bank in Needham.
Erik Jones, 35, of Norwood, was arrested early Tuesday morning by State Police. He was then placed in the custody of the Norwood Police Department.
At about 10:05 a.m., Needham Police responded to a bank robbery at the Citizen's Bank on Chapel Street. During the overnight shift, troopers were advised that the suspect, identified as Jones, may be in the area.

Troopers checked multiple addresses of known people connected to Jones during the early hours. This led them to the suspect's vehicle on Washington Street in Norwood. Troopers then waited for Jones arrive and he was arrested for the robbery, as well as a parole violation.
