Sunday, pitcher Sam Mellen was announced as a member of the Boston Globe All-Scholastic baseball team. The Bay State Conference MVP made headlines this spring with a no-hitter against Dedham.
This season he had an ERA of .60 and 89 strikeouts in 53 1/3 innings pitched.
