Norwood Police Charge 2 In Illegal Pill Sales Scheme
Debra Scampoli and Patrick Gleeson were arrested Oct. 4 by the Norwood Police Department.

NORWOOD, MA — Two people face charges for allegedly selling illegal prescription pills out of a home in Norwood, police said.
Debra Scampoli, 49 of Norwood, was charged with distribution of a Class E drug and possession of a Class B drug with intent to distribute. Patrick Gleeson, 45 of Dedham, was charged with distribution of a Class B drug and possession of a Class E drug.
On Oct. 4, Norwood Police along with NORPAC member agencies arrested the two. During their investigation, police learned that Scampoli and Gleeson allegedly sold their prescription pills to each other and other individuals. Gleeson was arrested during a traffic stop while others detectives went to 334 Sumner St. and placed Scampoli under arrest.

The Class B substance for both individuals was 30mg Oxycodone pills and the Class E substance was Xanax, police said.
