Norwood Police Log: Assault with Dangerous Weapon, Drug Possession, and More

September 18

4:14 a.m. - Poulin Diamond, 26, of Providence, R.I., was arrested and charged with possession of a Class B drug with intent to distribute, attaching plates, operating an uninsured motor vehicles, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and possession an open container of alcohol inside a motor vehicle.

3:47 p.m. - After a caller at Dunkin’ Donuts on Route 1 reported an altercation with an employee, Eddie Powell, 24, of Dorchester, was arrested on a warrant and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.

September 19

5:50 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Broadway Street, Ricky Araujo, 26, of Norwood, was arrested and charged with failing to stop for police, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense), and unsafe operation of a motor vehicle.
