7:30 a.m. - Resident on Crestwood Circle reported two cars parked in his driveway were broken into and rifled though with some items missing. A report was filed.
11:30 a.m. - Employees at Norwood Light Department on Central Street were concerned about a woman coming in and causing problems. They were told to call police if she showed up.

7:33 p.m. - Police were told about an incident at the intersection of Broadway and E. Hoyle streets where occupants of a blue vehicle were yelling at motorists. Officers will follow up with the traffic division.
9:13 p.m. - Officers received a report about gasoline in the lot of the Dollar Tree Store on Walpole Street. The Norwood Fire Department was sent to clean the spill.

Wednesday, Aug. 10:
1:13 a.m. - An officer reported traffic lights were flashing at all four directions at the intersection of Walpole Street and Walnut Avenue. The State Department of Public Works was notified.
2:55 a.m. - Resident on Adams Street reported hearing a beeping sound that woke her up. Officers reported the carbon dioxide dectector sounding, it was faulty.
6:45 a.m. - An officer responded to an open man hole cover at the intersection of Morse and Pleasant streets. It was covered back up.
5:50 p.m. - Resident on Neponset Street entered the lobby of the Norwood Police Department and reported a text message from a neighbor bothering her son. A report was filed.
7:28 p.m. - Officer reports a transformer exploded at the intersection of Springvale and Alpine roads. The Norwood Fire Department and the Electric Light Department were sent to investigate.
Thursday, Aug. 11:
1:12 a.m. - An officer checked Town Hall to be sure it was secure, everything was in order.
