October 12

3:54 p.m. - A woman told police that her phone was stolen at McDonald’s on Route 1. She was able to track the phone to Dorchester.

4:30 p.m. - A caller reported a child panhandling at the intersection of Route 1 and Everett Street. The person was actually an adult and was advised to stop.

4:45 p.m. - A person bothering people for cigarettes near CVS on Nahatan Street was sent on his way.

4:46 p.m. - A clown sighting was reported near Northwest Drive.

9:24 pm. - A caller at Home Depot on Route 1 reported a vehicle that left with three men and cardboard taped over their license plate. The manager told police he wished to pursue the matter through loss prevention.
