Norwood Police Log: Dangerous Weapon at School, Drug Possession, and More

December 5
11:55 a.m. - A caller reported a man punching the windshield of a car on University Avenue.
12:43 p.m. - The student resource officer at Coakley Middle School reported that a student was carrying an item that could be considered a dangerous weapon. The student, a 13-year-old received a summons for carrying a dangerous weapon on school grounds.

December 6
7:56 p.m. - Patricia Callaghan, 42, of Westwood, was arrested at Shaw’s Supermarket on Nahatan Street and charged with shoplifting by asportation, shoplifting by concealing merchandise, four counts of possession of a Class B drug, possession of a Class C drug, and possession of a Class E drug.
