Norwood Police Log: Fight, Drug Possession, and More

September 24

8:05 p.m. - An employee at Gulf on Washington Street reported a larceny. The employee declined to press charges but the license plates were removed from the suspect’s vehicle for revoked status.

1:15 a.m. - A fight was reported at the Mug n’ Muffin Restaurant on Washington Street. By the time police arrived, all but one person left. That person was placed into protective custody.

1:34 a.m. - A caller reported a drunk person on School Street. The person was placed into protective custody.

September 27

1:43 p.m. - Norwood Police Chief William Brooks reported a possible heroin user and driver passed out in the back of a building on Washington Street. As a result, police made two arrests. Sean Winslow, 26, of Norwood, was charged with possession of heroin and a Class C drug and Graham Gatley, 26, of Norwood, was charged with being present where heroin is kept.

September 28

5: 15 a.m. - A caller on Cedar Street told police she wanted a person removed from her home, The person was placed into protective custody.
