Norwood Police Log: Stolen Packages, Assault on a Police Officer, and More

9:03 a.m. - A caller on Oak Road told police that he found was appeared to be a stolen package. He told the responding officer that he had two packages stolen from his doorstep.

5:16 p.m. - A stolen package was reported on Washington Street.

December 24

12:05 p.m. - A past break-in was reported on Plimpton Avenue.

December 27

7:32 a.m. - A past break-in was reported on Lenox Street.

December 29

7:39 p.m. - Following a car crash at the intersection of Neponset Street and Pendergast Circle, Kassandra Bevis, 51, of Dracut, received a summons for operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of property damage, marked lanes violation, speeding, assault and battery on a police officer, and wanton destruction of property under $250.
