Norwood Police Log: Stolen Plows, Child Endangerment While OUI, and More

February 22

10:05 a.m. - A caller at Jack Madden Ford on Route 1 told police a plow was taken from one of the trucks.

6:47 p.m. - Sean Heaney, 26, of Norwood, was arrested on Walpole Street on a warrant.

9:10 p.m. - A loud argument between eight men was reported at the intersection of Rock and Neponset Street. The men were actually playing football in the street.

February 24

6:14 a.m. - A tractor-trailer crash was reported at the intersection of Washington and Chapel Streets.

4:55 p.m. - A man was detained at Home Depot on Route 1 for shoplifting.

7:29 p.m. - A caller reported a vehicle driving on two bare rims. After police responded to the intersection of Rock and Pleasant Streets, Hector Hernandez, 58, of Norwood, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent oepration of a motor vehicle, and child endangerment while OUI.

11:58 p.m. - A caller on Dean Street told police that a drunk and unlicensed person took a vehicle.
