Norwood Police Log: Stolen Rims, Disruptive Kids, and More

November 13

4:33 p.m. - An intoxicated person was reported at Ellis Pond on Walpole Street. The person was taken into protective custody and taken to Norwood Hospital.

4:57 p.m. - The driver of a vehicle at Napper Tandy’s on Day Street appeared to be sleeping behind the wheel. The driver was taken into protective custody.

8:18 p.m. - Amy Walker, 35, of Westwood, was arrested at McDonald’s on Broadway Street on a warrant.

November 18

7:45 a.m. - A caller on Pleasant Street told police that someone took the tires and rims off his car overnight.

1:48 p.m. - Police received a report of kids hanging out in front of For Eyes on Nahatan Street and bothering customers. An officer reported that the kids were not causing any trouble and were moved along.

7:11 p.m. - A manager in Walpole Street told police that a customer almost assaulted an employee before leaving.


November 19
4:01 p.m. - A group of eight kids being loud and disruptive at McDonalds on Broadway Street was reported.

8:32 p.m. - Following a well being check on Jefferson Drive, Anthony Decosta, 29, of Norwood, was arrested on a warrant.
