Norwood Police Log: Suspicious Bag of Sticks? OUI and More

February 3

10:35 a.m. - A caller reported a suspicious cardboard box with things sticking out of it near the intersection of Walpole and Chapel Streets. Police checked it out and it was a box of sticks.

8:57 p.m. - A group of kids throwing things near the intersection of Chapel Court and Chapel Street was reported. Police were gone upon arrival.

February 4

7:52 p.m. - Brian Cobb, 39, of Norwood was arrested on Nichols Street as part of a courtesy booking for the Stoughton Police Department.

February 5

12:28 a.m. - A shoplifting incident was reported at Daily Fine on Fulton Street.

8:00 p.m. - During a traffic stop near the intersection of Washington and Hoyle Streets, Margaret Luizzo, 55, of Norwood was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, marked lanes violation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, obstructing an emergency motor vehicle, and not having a license in possession.
