Norwood Police Searching for Man Involved in Thanksgiving Brawl

From the Norwood Police Department:

The Norwood Police Department is looking for the public’s assistance in locating Stephen M. Dwyer. Dwyer is a wanted fugitive with an outstanding felony warrant for his arrest for Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon and Assault and Battery. He is considered armed and dangerous, is extremely violent and has training in mixed martial arts. He has a long history of violent and assaultive behavior as well as an extensive and continually growing criminal record.

In the early hours of Thanksgiving morning (Thursday 11/24/16), Dwyer violently attacked a group of people having a friendly gathering in Norwood. He attacked one victim by repeatedly punching him in the face with his fist and a knife. He then brandished the knife towards the group of partygoers before fleeing. As a result of Dwyer’s violent attack, this innocent victim suffered extensive injuries.
