Norwood Police Searching for Men who Broke into Gym Lockers

The suspects may have committed similar crimes in Dedham and Stoughton.

NORWOOD, MA - Police are searching for two individuals connected to a break-in at a Norwood gym.

This week, a victim at the Vanderbilt Club told police that someone entered his unlocked locker while he was working out. When he was finished, he went to his car, saw that his glove box and center console were open, and his wallet and other belongings were gone, according to Norwood police.

An employee at the gym told police that two men inquired about signing up for a membership at about the same time. After taking the registration forms, the two walked towards the locker room, presumably to find a place to sit and fill them out. The two men left a very short while later stating that they had left their workout clothes outside. They never returned and two blank membership forms were found near the victim’s locker.
