Norwood Police Searching for Missing Teen
Anyone who knows the location of Delmis Avelar Velasquez is asked to call the Norwood Police Department.

NORWOOD, MA - Police in Norwood are asking for assistance in locating a 16-year-old female.
Delmis Avelar Velasquez has been missing since Jan. 29. Police say that is when she met with Carlos Adolfo Ortiz also known as Amilcar Larios, whom she had been corresponding with online.

Ortiz/Larios was residing in Norwood when the missing person report was issued, according to police.
Investigators believe that Velasquez left voluntarily and would like to make contact with her to ensure her well-being.

The destination and whereabouts of the two are unknown.
