Norwood's Gorman Saves the Day For BC in Upset Win over Virginia Tech

Norwood's John Gorman picked up his second save of the season Sunday.

Norwood's John Gorman, a former Catholic Memorial standout, picked up the save of the games as the Boston College baseball team scored for four runs in the eighth inning to come back to defeat 25th-ranked Virginia Tech, Sunday at Eddie Pellagrini Diamond at Commander Shea Field. Before the start of the game, seven seniors were recognized for their career in the Maroon and Gold. 

The Eagles (11-37, 3-23 ACC) outhit the Hokies (30-19, 13-14 ACC), 10-9, in the series finale as they tallied their third ACC win of the year.

Gorman tallied his second save of the year, allowing two hits in 0.2 innings.
