Norwood Schools Superintendent Announces Retirement

Jim Hayden has announced his intent to retire.

NORWOOD, MA — After six years on the job, retirement is on the mind of Superintendent Jim Hayden.

Hayden announced his intent to retire at the Sept. 14 School Committee meting, according to the Norwood Bulletin.

The retirement leaves the committee with the task of finding Hayden's successor. The cost of the search could run could run between $7,500-$40,000, depending on if the committee uses a search firm or do it themselves.
