Norwood Store Sells $1 Million Winning Ticket To Walpole Woman

NORWOOD, MA — A Walpole woman on Jan. 7 won a $1 million on a $30 scratch ticket. Linda Massad became the 37th $1 million prize winner in the "The Fastest Road to $1 Million" instant game after buying the ticket at Norwood News Book Store on Washington Street.

Massad chose the cash option for her prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 after taxes.

Norwood News Book Store will received a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
