Norwood Woman Charged With Courthouse Drug Distribution

Two people have been charged with distributing heroin at Brockton Superior Court and three officers have been placed on leave.

BROCKTON, MA — Two people have been charged with distributing heroin at Brockton Superior Court and three officers have been placed on leave.

Christine Lozanne, 54, of Norwood, and Tineisha Lozanne, 26, of Dorchester, were arraigned in Brockton District Court Thursday. Both pleaded not guilty to multiple drug charges, according to reports.

Prosecutors say the Lozannes attempted to deliver drugs to a prisoner inside the courthouse. The two allegedly placed the drugs behind a railing in an elevator where inmates knew there were no cameras. A covert camera allegedly caught Christine Lozanne taking something out of her shirt inside the elevator and placing it behind a railing. An inmate then entered the elevator and placed the drugs into this pocket.
