Claire V. (Downing) George, of Norwood, formerly of West Roxbury and Roslindale, died Jan. 3, 2014.
Funeral will from the P.E. Murray-F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Centre St., West Roxbury, Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa Church, West Roxbury at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
Visiting hours will be Monday, Jan. 6 from 4-7 p.m. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Claire’s memory to Voluntary Service, c/o ENRM Veterans Hospital, 200 Springs Rd., Bldg. 62AB, Bedford, MA 01730 or the National MS Society, Greater New England Chapter, P.O.
