OUI, Fights, and More: Norwood Police Log

May 23

9:27 a.m. - A caller reported a person throwing trash around the Dunkin’ Donuts on Route 1. Police reported that a customer in a car dumped sugar in the parking lot and another person got upset at that. The parties involved were talked to and went on their way.

3:19 p.m. - A fight involving two or kids, with between seven and 10 more present on Winslow Avenue was reported. Information was forwarded to the student resource officer.

4:01 p.m. - A bike on Irving Street was stolen. The bike was located, returned, to the owner, and a summons was issued.

May 24

12:27 a.m. - A vehicle was stuck in the parking lot of Burger King on Route 1. The driver, Luljan Mici, 37, of Norwood, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and marked lanes violation.
