Outgoing Norwood HS Principal Named Finalist For Third Opening

NORWOOD, MA — Outgoing Norwood High School Principal Jonathan Bourn is the lone finalist for the principal opening at Belmont High School.

Bourn is expected to meet with the Belmont High School community Monday night, according to the Belmont Citizen-Herald. The announcement marks the third job that Bourn is a finalist for.

Bourn announced last month that he is leaving Norwood High School, effective July 1. He is also the lone finalist for the Braintree High School headmaster opening and one of three for the Medway High School principal opening.

Prior to coming to Norwood, Bourn was the interim principal and an assistant principal at Needham High School, an assistant principal at Abington High School, and teacher at Brockton High School. He has a master's degree from Boston College and a bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts.
