Owner of Norwood Spa Found Guilty of Prostitution Charges Gets Prison Time
Terry Mussari, 50, was sentenced Wednesday in Norfolk Superior Court in Dedham.

DEDHAM, MA — A Stoughton woman who used massage parlor in Brockton and Norwood as a front for a prostitution operation will spend time behind bars.
Terry Mussari, 50, was sentenced Wednesday in Norfolk Superior Court in Dedham to two years in prison. She will serve her sentence at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Framingham, according to the Enterprise.
Earlier this year, Mussari was found guilty of two counts of deriving support from prostitution, two counts of maintaining a house of prostitution, two counts of keeping a house of ill-fame, three counts of minimum wage violations, and three counts of failure to provide suitable pay stubs, according to the state's Attorney General's office. Additional charges stemmed from a third massage parlor in Canton.

Mussari was arrested in 2011 following an investigation into allegations that Mussari's spas, the Aria Day Spa in Brockton and Spa Bellissimo in Norwood, were offering sex for a fee. Investigators learned that masseuses employed by Mussari were categorizing sexual activity between them and the customers as tips, according to the state's Attorney General's office.
Mussari was arrested in October 2011 following a raid on her businesses and she was indicted in March 2012.
