Package Thefts Reported Across Norwood
Residents are advised to take precautions to avoid a theft of their own.
NORWOOD, MA — Norwood continues to get hit by package thieves, police said Friday.
Due to the level of thefts and the increase in people doing their holiday shopping online, the Norwood Police Department is warning residents to take precautions when ordering packages online. They have offered some tips to avoid a stolen delivery:
- Have packages delivered to your workplace/ neighbors house
- Require signature on delivery
- Install front door security camera
- Insure upcoming packages
If you see suspicious activity regarding packages, please call the Norwood Police Department with as accurate a description of the suspects and vehicles as possible.
