Pepsi Truck On Fire, 3rd OUI: Norwood Police Log

December 18

10:24 p.m. - During a 911 hangup call on Pleasant Street, yelling could be heard. When police responded, Christopher Shivers, 38, of Brockton, was arrested and charged with eight counts of credit card larceny and witness/juror/police/court official intimidation. Shivers also had an active warrant.

9:47 p.m. - During a traffic stop near the intersection of Pleasant and East Cross streets, Nancy Giovannucci, 58, of Norwood, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor and marked lanes violation.

December 20

11:29 a.m. - A Pepsi truck on fire at the Convenient Food Mart on Washington Street was reported. Norwood Fire handled the call.

December 21

12:23 a.m. - A caller near the intersection of East Cottage and Central streets reported a person sleeping in a running car. The person, Brian Ricci, 28, of Norwood, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor.

December 25

5:01 p.m. - A caller told police that a vehicle struck the curb on Azalea Drive. The driver, Kelly Noonan, 40, of Plainville, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor (third offense), negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and license not in possession.
