Person Caught On Camera In AJay's Market Break-In

NORWOOD, MA — Norwood police are searching for a man who was caught on tape breaking into a local convenience store.

At about 5 a.m. on Aug. 18, police responded to AJay's Market on Walpole Street for a report of a break-in at the business. Police say the suspect gained entry through the front door using a large rock. An undisclosed amount of cash and Newport cigarettes were stolen.

"No businesses is deserving of this type of activity, especially the staff at AJay's Market who go above and beyond to accommodate our small community," Norwood police wrote in a Facebook post.
