Person Hit By Car While Crossing Street

NORWOOD, MA — A person was taken to the hospital after they were struck by a vehicle.

The strike happened at about 5:45 p.m. on Washington Street between Railroad Avenue and Nahatan Street. Officers told WHDH that the person was not in the crosswalk.

The driver stayed at the scene, police said.

The street was closed during the investigation.
