UPDATE: Level 2 Sex Offender on Dean Street Arrested, Charged with Exposing Himself

Chad Falcone​ was arrested and charged with two counts of open and gross lewdness and accosting an annoying a person of the opposite sex.

NORWOOD, MA — A level 2 sex offender was taken into custody Wednesday morning for exposing himself to two women, police said.

Chad Falcone, 49, was arrested and charged with two counts of open and gross lewdness and accosting an annoying a person of the opposite sex. He was arraigned in Dedham District Court and ordered held on $10,000 cash bail. Bail for pending charges in Bristol Superior Court was revoked, police said.

Police say that Falcone reportedly himself to the woman near his Dean Street home while he was wearing a “green lacrosse-type pinnie around his waist like a diaper.” Officers responded to the scene to investigate but were unable to locate him at the time.

Wednesday morning, the Norwood Police Department went to Falcone's home to arrest him. Officers at the house saw Falcone but he allegedly refused to answer the door. After police entered the home, Falcone was found in the basement, under some clothes and boxes. A state police K-9 unit was called in to assist with the search. Falcone was taken into custody without incident.

Falcone has a history of exposing himself that goes back to 1989. He has been chared with open and gross lewdness and accosting an annoying a person of the opposite sex 14 times and has faced 23 related charges, according to the Norwood Police Department. He has two open cases in Taunton District Court and one in Bristol Superior Court.
