Police Continuing to Investigate Stereo Theft

Police say the suspect took $1,500 in equipment that was suppose to be used for a fundraiser for veterans.

NORWOOD, MA — Police in Norwood are still continuing to investigate a September incident that saw someone take audio equipment intended for a fundraiser for veterans.

During the early hours of Sept. 24, a South Norwood business was broken into, according to the Norwood Police Department. Surveillance footage shows two people arriving in the back of the building in a seemingly white vehicle. They then proceed to enter a storage area and leave with the stereo system. Police say the stereo was purchased with funds raised through the Run For a Vet fundraiser. The equipment was to be used in upcoming charity races which benefit veterans in need and is valued at about $1,500.
