Police Log: Drug Possession, Yelling Kids, and More

April 17

1:45 p.m. - A caller on Washington Street believed that the U.S. Speaker of the House may come to her home after she called his office about price fixing oil. An officer spoke to her and she is ok.

5:10 p.m. - Graffiti was reported in the bathroom of the Universal Technology Institue on Upland Road.

8:13 p.m. - A group of kids yelling and screaming near the high school was reported. An office reported that the group was attending an event at the school.

April 18

3:02 a.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Davis Avenue, Vanessa Franklin, 27, of Fall River, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, possession of a Class B drug, possession of a Class C drug, failure to yield at an intersection, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

9:46 a.m. - A 29-year-old male from Dedham received a summons for larceny under $250.
