Police Log: The Inappropriate Male, Vehicle Break-in, and More

May 8
7:08 a.m. - A caller reported an erratic operator coming from Route 95 to Neponset Street. The vehicle was swaying from the left lane to the right lane for the past few miles before getting off the highway. A check of the area found no sign of the vehicle.
4:20 p.m. - A resident on Weld Avenue reported a group of kids moving a chair to the front of her driveway with more kids congregating in a parking lot. An officer spoke to a group of kids out playing, it was not the same group. The officer moved that chair off to the side of the road.

8:19 p.m. - Multiple 911 calls were received for a young child on his bike in only his underwear going into the Ellis Pond area. Norwood fire was notified and responded. The child’s father met the officers at Norwood Hospital.

2:10 a.m. - Kids fighting on St. Joseph Avenue was reported. Officers spoke with three kids who send there was no fight and went into a house.
May 11
2:22 a.m. - A caller reported a person sleeping in front of Certainteed on Pleasant Street. The person was taken into protective custody.
May 12
6:02 a.m. - A caller on Davis Avenue told police that a GPS, fire extinguisher, and fuel were taken from his car.
6:32 p.m. - A caller on Dean Street reported a man acting inappropriately in public. Police spoke to the male party and advised him to put a shirt on.
