Police Log: Juvenile Allegedly Steals New iPhone and Sells it on Craigslist

Thursday, Oct. 23
At 6:16 a.m., police reported a road hazard in which there was flooding near Rock Street and Nathan Street.
At 7:44 a.m., police reported larceny in which a wheel was missing from a vehicle on Nathan Street.

At 9:34 a.m., police reported a fire on Marlboro Street in which wires went into a tree and set the tree on fire. Norwood Police and Fire Departments were notified.
At 9:41 a.m., police reported a fuel spill and leak near Washington Street and Nathan Street. A tractor trailer unit was leaking diesel fuel. Norwood Fire Department handled the spill.

At 12:20 p.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident on Washington Street.
At 4:26 p.m., police reported larceny of a cell phone at Norwood High School on Nichols Street.
At 6:54 p.m., police reported a road rage incident in which a suspect threatened to shoot someone near Dean Street and Washington Street. Officers located both parties involved and did not find a weapon.
At 7:25 p.m., police arrested Jodi L. Marks, 40, 141D Olde Derby Road, on a warrant arrest and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Police initiated a motor vehicle stop on Marks’ vehicle near Walpole Street and Woodbine Road.
Friday, Oct. 24
At 1:12 a.m., police arrested Thomas M. Nixon, 21, 77 Cameron Road, on two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and vandalizing property on Cameron Road. Nixon was in a fight in front of a house on Cameron Road.
At 1:26 p.m., police reported larceny of medication on Rock Street.
At 1:36 p.m., police reported a recovered missing juvenile on Winter Street.
At 2:29 p.m., police reported a four-car motor vehicle accident on Washington Street.
At 3:32 p.m., police arrested Timothy Lawrence, 31, 31B Scott Road of Cumberland, RI, for shoplifting by asportation and arrested Derek McCarthy, 36, 62 Adams St. of Dorchester, for shoplifting by asportation and possession of a Class B substance.
Saturday, Oct. 25
At 1:20 a.m., police arrested Annmarie G. Litcof, 31, 990 Washington St. no. 6, on a warrant arrest. Police reported Litcof was arguing with a family member on Wilson Street.
At 12:45 p.m., police reported larceny of a new iphone stolen from a home on Coolidge Road. A caller reported the phone has been sold on Craigslist. A juvenile was place under arrest for larceny over $250.
At 4:59 p.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident in which a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Washington Street. Norwood Fire Department responded to the incident.
At 10:41 p.m., police reported four missing juveniles on Winter Street.
Sunday, Oct. 26
At 12:45 p.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident near Washington Street and Cottage Street.
At 7:26 p.m., police assisted a caller who reported he was locked inside a car lot on Providence Highway.
At 9:52 p.m., police reported a missing elderly man with Alzheimer’s on Dorset Street. Units searched the area and located the missing party.
Monday, Oct. 27
At 12:17 a.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident at McDonalds on Providence Highway.
At 1:15 a.m., police recovered the four missing juveniles on Main Street.
At 2:01 a.m., police reported vandalism to a vehicle on Lansdowne Way.
